« With Slutchaï (trivial events) Oscar Strasnoy rediscovers  on stage this mix of humor and absurd (which is now his signature) which made the success of his Cachafas created in 2010.  On a libretto adapted from a satire of the stalinism of the 30’s, the composer and the director Christine Dormoy imagined a quite amazing show which keeps the audience in suspense. Funny and unpredictable, the theatre coming from this tasty score flits around under the watchful eye of Gogol and Copi but also Chostakovitch and Kagel. We admire the perfect performance of the singers, as of the Choir and of the Orchestra of the Grand-Theatre, where the accordion, the violin and the soloist clarinet play together… »
