Le Grain Théâtre de la Voix, a lyrical and musical theatre company, is leading since 1986 a work of research on the dramaturgy and the staging of today’s writings.

From the beginning the idea of reaching a diversified audience with a demanding repertoire was at the center of the project: the « Récitations » of Aperghis, given to the Grain by Martine Viard, toured in rural territories, National theatres, festivals and prestigious scenes of Venise or Milan with the same zinc bathtub. Scenic creations of the writings of Stockhausen, Valère Novarina, Scelsi, Kermann, Claudio Ambrosini, Arnaud Petit revealed the artistic line of the company Le Grain with peculiar teams and a close network for production, diffusion and relations with the public.
